A huge congratulations to the Moose, who beat the Leprechauns 14-5 in game 3 of their best of 3 series, to take home the inaugural OMRHL championship! Thank you to everyone who played with us this year as well as those who supported the league in other ways. We look forward to seeing everyone (and some new faces too) when we start up again in the fall.

It all comes down to this! The Mighty Moose and Fogtown Leprechauns will meet in a best-of-three series to decide who takes home the inaugural OMRHL Cup.

March 12th is the last week of our regular season. Playoffs will start the following week (March 19th) with two rounds of best of three. The first seed will play the fourth seed and the second seed will play the third seed, with the winner of each series meeting in the finals. If a team wins the first two games of a series, the third game becomes an exhibition game. Ties will be decided by a three-minute overtime followed by a three on three shootout.

The Duck Island Saints have acquired goaltender Sean Tobin from the Fogtown Leprechauns in exchange for goaltender Nikkia Boutcher and forward Austin St. Croix.

Next Tuesday, December 19th will mark our final games for this calendar year. We will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season!

Over the weekend our team captains held a roster expansion draft. The Duck Island Saints have added Nathan Bladen, Jeff Davis, Curtis Ryan and goaltender Wilfred Butt. The Fogtown Leprechauns have added Joey Toope, Christian O’Leary, Jared Butt and goaltender Jess Parsons. The Kraken Beers have added Stephen Ford, Nick Tuck, Daniel Lucas and goaltender Cody Squires. The Mighty Moose have added Nathan Hillier, Ryan Slaney, Kyle McBay and goaltender Lyndon Cabot. After the draft, the Kraken Beers traded Stephen Ford and Nick Tuck to the Fogtown Leprechauns in exchange for Joey Toope.

The inaugural season of the Odd Man Rush Hockey League officially kicks off tonight! The Duck Island Saints and Mighty Moose will kick things off at 7 pm followed by the Fogtown Leprechauns and Kraken Beers at 8 pm. This season's games will all be held at Capital Subaru Arena (55 Hebron Way).
